Copenhagen 23/4 2018. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Burps Allé, Frb. F. A guy with red beard and red pajama with a beer (of course) on the label. This version "only" holds an ABV of 9,4.
Pours opaque dark brown with a very small bubbly tan head. Disappears after 5 seconds. No lacing.
Aroma is sweet, dark and intense. Sweet fermented plum, banana, sherry and generous amount of alcohol.
Quite strong and prickly carbonation. Thick oily texture.
Flavor is heavy sweet. Next to no bitterness. Aftertaste is heavy, sweet and somewhat boozy. Lingering for quite a while with some banana and marzipan.
Convincing and solid take on a Quadrupel.
