Copenhagen 31/10 2018. 33 cl bottle from Vinbørsen, Kbh Ø. A shouting Donald Trump with a Pinocchio-nose on the label. Fanø Brewery seems to entertain a deep fascination of PONTUS.
Pours hazy, murky amber with very small, very bubbly white head which disappears almost immediately. No lacing.
Aroma has subdued sweetness from the peach which is soon overpowered by a stronger sour, tart odor of unripe berries and green apples. It never gets one-dimensional due to the sweet fruit peeking in.
Strong carbonation. Slightly thick, very lively and prickly texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly stronger sourness. Aftertaste is pretty sweet and lingers for a while.
Not very funky - and not very sour either. But it manages to be refreshing despite a ABV of 9,7 which is pretty impressive.
