Copenhagen 23/6 2017. 50 cl bottle from Meny. The usual Fanø design with some Corn Ears, hops, Sea Horses and an anchor. This time in cream.
Pours hazy reddish amber with white head. Settles as 0,5 cm thick layer of foam. Lacing on the side of the glass.
Aroma is sweet exotic fruit with a fermented and slightly decaying twist. Citric overtones.
Soft carbonation and medium thick palate.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is medium bitter. Finish is semi-dry.
Decent but a bit generic IPA. Have tasted far better from Fanø Brewery.

At Copenhagen Beer Festival. Golden colour, slightly hazy. Hoppy and fruity aroma. The flavour has plenty of zesty and fruity hops, but not too much. Some herbal and piney notes too. Very good.

Pours dark amber with a large head.
Nose shows earthy, spicy hops, orange marmalade, rich caramel and cookie dough-like malt.
Similar flavours, with more orange marmalade, caramel and spicy, herbal hops.
Carbonation seems a bit excessive.
Very easy drinking.

500mL bottle thanks to Lukie. Only a month left on the best before date so will be interesting comparing to other reviews.
Hazy apricot, with a dense slightly off-white head that wants to hang around. Strong lace trails when it finally drops.
Lots of pungent bread and baked toffee, with mild floral and sweet citrus hop notes. It's clear the hops have faded, although at times they manage to play off the malts enough to yield a bit of candied orange and lemon. Mostly though, the aroma combination comes out a bit muddled.
Domineering earthy, breath-freshener bitterness, with malt character only succeeding in poking through later. Not a fan of these hops at all - bitterness without any flavour backing it up.
Light body with moderate carbonation. The mouthwashy hops produce a moderate bitterness and a lingering dry finish.
Will do a re-review with a fresh bottle, but dubious whether it will change my assessment if the Fishermans Friend hop character is still there. I've now had at least five IPAs marred by these hops. Determined to identify exactly what they are so I can avoid them like the plague.

Hazy amber colour with a thick, dense, creamy light tan head. Good head retention.
Fresh malted crystal grain with distinct caramel aroma. Slightly lacking in hop presence.
There is a nice maltiness here that yields to a firm hop presence. Slightly citrussy. Strong brewed tea. Caramel, Biscuit and moderate bitterness.
Medium-light body with moderately-high carbonation. Good.
A solid IPA with plenty of hop character and a nice malt presence.

This brew pours a murky golden amber hue with beautiful carbonation that leaves behind a very frothy two and a half finger head and heaps of sticky lacing everywhere, the smell is very tropical with hints of lychee, peach and pineapple,it has a nice medium bodied well carbonated mouthfeel which really suits this style with tastes of peaches, apricots, mangoes, light toffee, paw paw and finishes with a passionfruit bitterness, overall its a very tasty drop and with its tropical fruit flavours i could see this brew as a beautiful accompliance to a nice hot summers day and thoroughly recommend cheers.
