Copenhagen 20/3 2023. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Ale, Frb. F. A sightly depressed bride with a strange flowery hat on a dark background on the label.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a smal beige head. Settles as thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sugary, may odor mingling with a earthy scent and pronounced notes of dark alcohol. Dark fruits, brown sugar, syrup and toffee. Whisky and wood.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, viscous, fat, creamy, smooth, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sugary sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and rather boozy. Bitter undertone. Lingering. Finish is sugary with the alcohol bleeding through.
Black indeed - with a sweet and boozy tooth.
