Copenhagen 9/1 2023. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Fanø’s usual Single Hop series design. Small golden hop flowers.
Pours unclear - almost opaque - golden yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as a 4 cm thick crown of foam obscuring the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is moderately intense and a bit dampened by the foam. Sweet peach and orange lemonade. Hints of caramel. Whiff of lemon and citrus. Certainly on the sweetish side.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger rough bitterness. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Sweetish nose and a rough and bitter flavor.
