Copenhagen 11/12 2022. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. A very relaxed fellow with a huge waxed moustache in his Oktoberfest folk gear.on the label.
Pours slightly unclear amber with a mid-sized, fluffy white head. Stable. Settles as thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty and lightly toasted odor mingling with a whiff of grainy sourness. Sweet pale malts, bread and cereals. Sour grains and a bit of alcohol.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a bitter undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
Decent take on a Märzen
