Copenhagen 19/11 2022. 50 cl bottle from Craft Makers Collectives webshop. Fanø’s usual design for their Single Hop brand in a green version.
Pours unclear, murky yellow with a small white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, flimsy, patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fruity odor mingling with a sharp citric scent- Peach and pineapple. Grapefruit and lemon. Dry vibe.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, greasy, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and a little rough. Lingers for a while. Finish is rather dry.
Fairly well-balanced APA with considerable bitter bite. .
