Copenhagen 8/4 2024. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. A bit of colorful flowerbed on the light blue label.
Pours unclear amber with a mid-sized off-white head. Stable. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty and kind of boozy odor mingling with bit of dried fruit. Sweet pale malts, bread, caramel. whiff of sharp alcohol.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, greasy, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong harsh bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a distinct sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry and rough.
Imperial and boozy.
