Copenhagen 1/6 2017. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. The ssual Fanø design with corn, hops and an Anchor in brown on the label.
Pours hazy dark brown with small light beige head. Settles as flimsy and patchy thin layer of foam. No lacing to speak of.
Aroma is sweet and roasty. Dark roasted malts, brown sugar, syrup, chocolate and a little spicy sour bitter touch of coffee.
Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate.
Flavor is quite sweet and a little bit sugary. Followed by light coffee bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish.
Pleasant and easy to drink brown ale, which will not leave a lasting impression.

Gusher bottle. Deep reddish brown colour, large beige head. Malty and moderately roasty aroma, some spicy hints. Dry and medium roasty flavour, some spicy notes too. Okay, but did not sweep me off my feet.
