Copenhagen 14/3 2021. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. A murky sky without much sunlight in water-colors on the label.
Pours opaque, murky dark amber with a big white head. Settles as 0,3 cm thick, frothy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with light sour citric notes and a rather prominent yeasty scent. Sweet pale malts. Grapefruit and lime. Moldy basement room.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, watery, lively, tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric-sour bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Nice, dry and bitter IPA with a notable touch of yeasty mold.
