Copenhagen 31/3 2025. 50 cl bottle from The Beer Hive, Amagerbrogade, Kbh. S. Good old Albert Einstein looking crazy on the label where all five involved breweries are mentioned.
Pours opaque dark brown with small light beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass.
Aroma is intense with a strong sweet and a bit sugary odor of malts mingling with earthy fumes and dark alcohol. Brown sugar, honey, vanilla and leather. Wood and red wine. Sourish notes.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, a bit greasy soft, flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a somewhat stronger sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingering. Finish is rather dry and pretty boozy.
Flat and greasy. But nonen the less a Powerhouse.
