Hazier than a blizzard on Christmas Eve and fresher than the virgin snow it leaves behind for Christmas morning; “I’m Dreaming of a Kveik Christmas” is a refreshing oat cream IPA that will leave visions of hops and citrus fruits dancing in your head. Brewed with loads of flaked oats and double dry hopped with Amarillo, Cascade, Mosaic, and Simcoe hops, this beer strikes delightful balance of creamy and fruity, juicy and hoppy.

Copenhagen 1/12 2020. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Drawing of an old, red farmhuse with light in the windows and smoke coming out of the chimney in the middle of a snow landscape.
Pours opaque, hazy, golden orange with mid-sized white head. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet, fruity odor mingling with citric scents. Peach, pineapple. A touch of Fanta. Grape fruit and pine. Light odor of yeasty barnyard.
Medium strong carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth, creamy texture. Tingling.
Flavor is medium intense with a light sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Smooth, soft and pretty intense. And with a nice, subtle touch of yeast.
