Copenhagen 12/4 2025. 50 cl bottle from Meny Rotunden. Hellerup. Label with uneven horizontal stripes I black, green and off-white and the name of the two involved breweries.
Pours opaque dark brown with a beige head. Stable. Settles as a thin patchy layer of foam unable of covering the surface the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet malty and boozy odor mingling with a oaky and earthy scent. Dark roasted malts, toffee and a whiff of brown sugar. Sharp whiskey. Fermented oak marinated in alcohol.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, soft, creamy, smooth, viscous, fat, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Finish is sweet and boozy.
A really nice Baltic Poter strutted in raw whiskey.
