Copenhagen 21/9 2019. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé. Frb. F. Pretty Cool and rather weird label with a family with long noses and without any hair sitting naked on top of each other looking pretty happy about it.
Pours murky amber with a small white head. Settles as thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense, sweetly fruity and with light sourish overtones. Sweet dark fruits. Plum, Prunes. Hints of Marzipan and Alcohol. Yeasty basement odors in the background.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, smooth texture. A bit sticky.
Flavor has a strong sweetness followed by a very moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet bordering on being sugary. a bit boozy. Lingering.
A very sweet version of a Tripel. Rich and with a healhy amount of alcohol. Solid, but on the verge of being cloying.
