Copenhagen 10/8 2019. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Drawing of some kind of flying (!) whale on the label.
Pours unclear pale yellow with a very big white head. Bubbly. Settles as 1 cm thick, lumpy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer and clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense, citric with a light malty sweetness in the background. Strong acerbic citric odor. Light odor of caramel and grains.
Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery and quite lively texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by a quite strong bitterness. Aftertaste is very bitter. Lingering. Finish is crisp and dry.
Pilsener from the very bitter ranges. Bitter, dry and crisp.
