A collaborative effort between the brewers at Fanø Bryghus and the fine folks at Lighthouse Burger; “Sailor’s Choice” is a Milkshake IPA brewed with Galaxy, Citra, Vic Secret, El Dorado and Ekuanot hops. It’s an infinitely drinkable IPA with refreshing notes of citrus, passion fruit and pineapple.

Copenhagen 1/1 2026. 50 cl bottle from The Beer Hive, Amagerbrogade, Kbh. S. Light blue label with a rugged sailor and some waves for good measure.
Pours opaque, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Settles as a thin patch of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a fruity ans sugary sweet odor mingling with more subtle citric fumes. Sweet peach and strawberry ice cream. Lactose. Lemon and lime. Subdued.
Low carbonation. Slightly thic. oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertasteis bitter with a strong sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Sweet candy with citric squirt.
