Big thanks goes out to morimoto76 for sharing this one at a recent tasting! Served from bottle into a Mikkeller taster flute. Poured a massively dark brown with a minimal brown head. Maintained nice lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised sweet malt, roasted malt, dark fruit, wood, and subtle alcohol. The flavor was of sweet malt, dark chocolate, roasted malt, dark fruit, wood, and subtle alcohol. It had a heavy feel on the palate with medium carbonation. Overall this was a fairly good brew. The mouthfeel on this one was very nice and inviting. The flavor on this one was very solid which made it quite drinkable. Really glad I got to give this one a try and suggest you do the same if you get the chance. Tick.
