Copenhagen 5/5 2016. 50 cl bottle from Netto. Another feature in Midtfyns Bryghus never ending series of Chili-beers named after YouTube phenomena Chili Klaus, who apparantly earns his money making videos of celebrities eating different kinds of chili.
Pours opaque dark brown with a light beige head. Settles as a 0,5 cm thick layer of foam.
Aroma is sweet and bitter. Dark chocolate, licorice, coffee and brown sugar.
Medium strong carbonation and medium thick palate.
Flavor is medium sweet and followed by pronounced bitterness. Some burning sensation from the chili. But more subdued than many of Midtfyns other chili products.
Actually a nice stout with some burning chili thrown in for good measure.

Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting. Black colour, moderate tan head. Pleasant aroma of roast malts, chocolate, coffee and liquorice, only a hint of chili. The flavour has the same elements as the aroma, but now with a more distinct chili burn. Not overdone, though. Very good beer.
