Copenhagen 3/7 2018. 50 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen. The usual Shield formed design this time with a very shining sun to underline the point.
Pours slightly hazy golden amber with a medium-sized head. Settles as a thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is more "pilsner" than APA. Solid sweetish malt base. Fresh grass, light caramel. Fairly notable citric notes. Citrus, spruce.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, lightly prickly texture.
Flavor is medium sweet. Followed by quite weak bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish reminding me of lemonade. Light dry bitterness towards the end.
Fresh and refreshing even though a bit on the sweet side. It's a stretch to classify it as a APA. They call it a "light ale with a touch of Tropical fruit" on the label.
