Sample at Copenhagen Beer Festival. Amber colour. Malty character with some caramel and toffee, but lacks a fresh hoppy "bite", which is a bit surprising, as Styrian Goldings and Pilgrim ought to contribute to a "fresh" character. Too much crystal malts, not enough hops, perhaps?

Hazed reddish amber, very heady ... stands three fingers tall. Buttery, yeasty, earthy, grainy and light citric aroma. Crispness grasps the earth, almost metallic, flavor right away. Medium bodied. Lots of malt to play with, from caramel to toasted bread, animal feed to fresh cut grass. Buttery and a little alcoholic, fruity for sure. Hops are there but take a back seat for the most part with bitterness for balance and a little flavor in the finish. Ends semi-dry.
Very complex with yeast flavors that seem to blanket everything else. Good drinking regardless.
