Copenhagen 21/4 2015. 50 cl bottle from Skjold Burne, Brønshøj Torv, Brønshøj. Silly looking bald Christmas elf toasting on the label.
Pours hazy orange with a white head. Stable. Seems pretty unfiltered as small particles are floating around. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is sour and citruslike with some alcohol and spices chiming in. Cardamom is pretty pronounced.
Soft carbonation. Slightly thick, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor has a little fruity sweetness but is dominated by slightly bitter sour citrus fruit.
Kind of reminds me of orange marmelade.

500 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.8%. Deep golden to amber colour, slightly hazy. Big off-white head. Light and sweetish pleasant aroma, fruity, spicy and floral, with notes of orange peel, coriander and cardamom, hints of honey. Moderately sweetish flavour with distinct spicy notes, hints of orange peel and honey, and a distinct and dry hoppy bitterness in the finish.

Look: Pours an amber-orange colour with a small head, leaving a nice lacing.
Smell: Malts, coriander, orange zest, cardamom, caramel and some floral hops.
Taste: Sweet malts, yeast, honey, coriander, orange, and some piney hops. Dry aftertaste
Mouthfeel: medium carbonation, light body
Overall: Nice try, but for me a bit too unbalanced and the body can use some more….ehh, well, body

50cl brown bottle with a freshness date.
Smattering of sea foam on the glass, dull amber color but very clear. Fruity with a faint toffee edge and spices to back it all up. Dry-ish medium body with a smooth and slick mouthfeel. Malty but again dry, toasted bread and only a hint of toffee. Modest hopping pairs up with some bitterness of the coriander and the orange peel compliments the fruity side of the brew. Finishes a little bitter from the coriander with dry malty undertones and a lingering yeasty fruitiness.
Quite tasty, one bottle is enough though ... coriander seems to be dialed a bit to high for my liking but certainly worth a go.
