Brew #1000 is back by popular demand, with exactly the same recipe as last time. The first brew #1000 was brewed in Brobyværk in 2013.
We launched Bryg #1000 in Årslev for the first time in 2023.
The beer is a Double NEIPA, which is a round and soft IPA with fruity notes.
Characteristic of this style is the haze from the protein-rich ingredients, such as oats and wheat.
This beer goes well with burgers, pizza or barbecue.

Copenhagen 1/4 2024. 50 cl bottle from Vinspecialisten, Søndergade, Herning, Cartoonish label depicting a cityscape from Årslev.
Pours opaque, slightly dirty, golden amber with a small white head. Stable. Settles as a thin layer of foam - almost transparent - stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, fruity, boozy odor mingling with a more subtle citric scent. Mango and peach. Overripe and fermented. Sharp lemon and grapefruit.
Low carbonation. Slightly thick, oily. slightly viscous, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
Potent and sweet DIPA - but not without a bitter bitter.
