En Imperial Brown Ale med en brun farve og et beige skum. Brygget på belgisk bygmalt og gæret med en hvedegær for at give øllet en unik krydret smag. Denne øl passer til julefrokosten, eller til almindelig julehygge sidst på aftenen.

Copenhagen 18/12 2016. 50cl bottle from Meny. The green labeled version with a funky hippie Santa gulping Beer.
Pours cloudy light brown with an off-white head. Settles as a 0,5 cm thick layer of foam. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is surprisingly sharp with a hard edged bitterness. Alcohol comes clearly through. Moderate sweetness with caramel and brown sugar in the background.
Soft carbonation and medium thick palate.
Flavor is quite sweet and boozy. Followed by sharp sourness. Sour sweet aftertaste.
Quite boozy Christmas Beer with too many of the characteristics for Danish Strong Beer - like too much sweetness and a bit too rough sourness. Not very funky.

500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8.5%. Brown colour, small off-white head. Aroma of brown malts, brown sugar and Belgian ale yeast, hints of spices. The flavour has the same elements, not too sweet , moderately spicy and quite enjoyable.
