This is a SMaSH beer, which means Single Malt and Single Hop.
The malt in this beer is Pale Ale malt, which creates a light amber colored beer. The hop is the American Mosaic, which gives a refreshing aroma of tropical fruit. Along with the malt it leaves a well-balanced and easy drinkable beer. The beer is fermented with an American yeast.
This refreshing beer is suitable to barbequed beef and pork or just to be enjoyed chilled, whenever you think you deserve it.

Copenhagen 2/7 2017. 50 cl bottle from Fakta. New Series from Midtfyns with a Single Malt and a Single Hop which apparently gives the acronym SMaSH. Pretty simple concept.
Pours hazy golden orange with white head. Settles as thin almost transparent layer of foam a little fatter along the rim of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is quite sharp with an moldy undertone. Resin, pine and faint sweetness of exotic fruit.
Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate.
Flavor is surprisingly sweet followed by strong bitterness which is a little rough.
Quite entertaining concept and I look forward to taste the rest of the series. But a little one dimensional as a consequence of the myopic concept.
