This is a beer of the SMaSH type, which means Single Malt and Single Hop.
The malt used is Pale Ale malt, which creates a light amber-colored beer. The hops are the American Chinook, which gives a fresh aroma of grapefruit and pine needles. Together with the malt, a well-balanced and easy-drinking beer has been created. The beer is fermented with an American yeast.
This fresh beer goes well with grilled beef and pork. Can also be enjoyed chilled when you think you deserve it.

Copenhagen 1/8 2017. 50 cl bottle from Fakta. The blue edition of Midtfyns SMaSH brand design with one type of malt (Pale Ale) and one type of Hops (Chinook). They seem a bit more interested in the hops as they have used the same type of malts for all three of them.
Pours hazy copper with white head. Settles as thin creamy layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Very moderate lacing.
Aroma is citric with sour tart grape fruit, dusty, floral notes and a little perfumed.
Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by pronounced bitterness.
Flavor is a little thin - but it is the beer of the SMaSH series I like the best.
