Copenhagen 21/5 2018. 50 cl bottle from Skjold Burne, Brønshøj torv, Brønshøj. A big red Y on the label to signify that the beer is a part of the YNWA collection. I am not aware of any connection to Liverpool.
Extremely foamy to pour. Pours hazy amber with a very big white head. Settles beautifully as a fluffy blanket of white foam. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is sweetish with a light acidic touch. A little subdued due to the foam. Caramel, cardboard and some dry hops peeking in.
Light carbonation. Thick, creamy texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly weaker, citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter.
Elegant and smooth but a bit one dimensional.
