A: Pour is pitch black with almost no head. A 1/4 inch brown head sinks quickly into some lacings.
S: Smoked semi-sweet malt, vanilla and smoked ham. Some coffee and some licorice. Very mild smell.
T: Follows the nose, but stronger in every way. The hard roast is what the taste is all about.
M: Body is full, carbonation low and aftertaste short -bitter.
O: This is probably the most boring English Porter I've had. It's not bad, but nothing stands out...
