A: Pours deep reddish brown with a tall beige compact head that sets into nice lacings.
S: Dark malt, semi-sweet, soy-sauce. Some dark dried fruits. But overall this is rather mild in smell for being a Dubbel. Some yeast and some spices.
T: Somewhat sweet dark malt, bready but a bit thin. Still some soy-sauce, and the yeast and spices are more suttle than in the smell (and they weren't very strong there either). Some dark dried fruits but also ripe red apples.
M: Thin body for this style, low carbonation and a shortlived aftertaste, mainly sweetness from dark malts.
O: Well, a Dubbel with only 4.8% ABV can't be much fuller in body than this. It feels like a "light-Dubbel". Not a really bad beer but deffinitely NOT a nice Dubbel.
