Copenhagen 16/1 2022. 50 cl bottle from Beerlivery web-shop Simple off-white label with the name of the beer in brown letters and the rest in black.
Pours clear brown with a red hue and a mid-sized off-white head. Settles as thin but consistent layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty, toasted scent mingling with sourish grainy notes and hints of butter. Caramel, toffee and hints of brown sugar. A bit of butter.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, greasy, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intensewith a fairly strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a bitter undertone. Finish is semi-dry.
Very much on the sweet side with a rough bitterness peeking in.
