Found this in Spain, along side the usual red Amstel. This one is green! It also contains stabilizers and anti-oxidants, and is very cheap...anyway thought I would give it a try for fun...
This may be just for the Spanish market, not too sure...
Not going to write lots, though tastes pretty much the same as the usual Amstel. Maybe this is the long life version, not too sure. It lacks some of the aliveness of usual beer...
Not great actually, tastes a bit flat and weak.
The only reason they would add the stabilizers, must be because of some strange additives. Which are not listed as official ingredients...anyway I see no reason why you would have to add stabilizers or anti-oxidants to usual beer, when alcohol is one of the best preservatives ever...kind of crazy huh?
Anyway, I poured in some ice and lime juice, and a shot of tequila...now it's pretty good actually

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
