This was a Christmas present in 2025, drunk in February 2026.
L: Beautiful, bright, crystal clear amber in the glass, with a pillowy, bright white head and a veritable stampede of bubbles rushing up the glass. This is how a beer should look!
S: The nose is sweet malt and floral hops; all up a fairly standard Euro lager aroma.
T: Grassy and sweet with a buttery and slightly florally bitter aftertaste. No real bitterness to speak of. Again, fairly standard Euro lager fare, but let down with too much diacetyl at the end. With no real flavour or bitterness to get in the way of the sweetness, it would be easy to stop drinking this after a couple, especially if drinking the large, 500ml cans on offer. On the assumption that this beer is made for bulk consumption, that's probably not a good thing.
M: While the body is medium and fine enough for a lager, there's a real lack of carbonation and especially carbonic kick. The latter would have helped tame the sweetness, and its absence was noted.
O: For a beer that started on such a high note, it went very much downhill from the moment I raised the glass to my lips, to the point that finishing the can became something of a chore.
Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
