Sample from bottle at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2013. Black colour, moderate beige head. Malty sweet aroma with loads of caramel, molasses and butterscotch, far more than the expected roasty coffee notes. Some more distinct coffee notes in the flavour though - still on a medium sweet caramel base.

This was just not What I expected. The beer pours a murky Brown with little to no head at all leaving no lacing. It smells pretty nice. Dark malt, Coffee, Sweet Caramel, toffee and a bit of a sourish tang as well. I thought this was really stange and interesting. The Taste is where it takes a turn for the worse. The coffee is there as expected but then there is a tart dryness that takes over until the bitter coffee aftertaste comes back, but not in a good way. This is rather thin bodied and like no other Stout I have ever tried. Although it was very interesting I have no interest in seeking this out or trying it again.
