Copenhagen 19/2 2023. 33 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Green can in Skovlyst’s usual design with a lumber axe and a beer can.
Pours almost clear yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as thin but unbroken layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet odor of malts and ripe fruit mingling with a sharp chemical scent. Peach and pale sweet malts. Window Polish with citrus scent.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, greasy, soft and lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
An Indian Pale Ale with a touch of detergent.

330 ml can, from BilkaToGo, Skalborg. ABV is 6.0%. Deep golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of malts, caramel and alcohol, hints of floral hops. Malty flavour with moderate hops and some fruit, a little caramel but not too sweet, more like an English strong ale than an IPA. Nice enough to drink, though.
