Ræven is a fresh and hoppy American-inspired IPA. There are always 4 different hop varieties and the aroma contains hints of grapefruit, flowers and citrus.

Copenhagen 21/1 2017. 50cl bottle bought at the brewery in the forest. Drawing of the idyllic brewery in Hareskoven in a style that reminds me of the 1970ties. Small foxes in the corner.
Pours slightly hazy amber with a huge white head. Settles as a 2 cm thick creamy layer of foam. Quite a lot of lacing on the side of the glass.
Aroma is very citric and sour with loads of citrus and lemon. Not much sweetness around. Some buttery notes.
Soft carbonation and slightly thick palate.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by medium to heavy bitterness. Bitter aftertaste which lingers for a while.
Not especially orginal - but decent IPA. The little bit of butter does not do it any favors.
