Jægerbock is a full-bodied, powerful and dark golden Bock beer with a slightly spicy taste of juniper. Lightly roasted malts and caramel sugar give the beer a lovely round and full-bodied character. The beer goes perfectly with red meat and game.

Copenhagen 18/4 2015. 75 cl bottle from Føtex, Mimersgadem Kbh. NV. Label with an insistent goat and a shotgun to put you in the right mood.
Pours amber brown with a beige head. Subsiding to lacing gradually. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is sweetish and of fermented fruit and alcohol. Plums and mango. Sugar.
Soft carbonation. Almost flat texture.
Flavor is surprisingly bland compared to the aroma. Sweet with some hops and bitterness in the aftertaste.
Not bad - but I have tasted better Bocks.
