Copenhagen 15/3 2015. 75 cl bottle with a cork stopper from Føtex, Mimersgade, Kbh. NV. Label in Skovlyst's usual design with a lot of gold and bubbles.
Extremely foamy when opened in the style of champagne. Pours clear pale yellow with a big stable head that only slowly subsides. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is of citrus and fermentation and a little alcohol. A bit sharp.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, lively texture.
Flavor is of wheat and fermented fruit. Sour aftertaste - a little bit like wine. Very subdued bitterness.
Amusing concept with a champagne-style beer. But more entertaining than good.
