Copenhagen 29/11 2015. 33 cl bottle from Føtex, Mimersgade, Kbh. NV. Cutting block with axe and a lot of freshly chopped wood on the label. Continues the forest theme from Skovlyst.
Pours clear reddish brown with a light tan head. Stable. Settles as a 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fruity citrus, roasted malts - not very heavy.
Soft carbonation and watery palate. Almost flat texture.
Flavor is thin and diluted. A little citrus fruit and a little bitterness. Short aftertaste.
Ok - this beer has a dark disposition when you look at it. But to call it a "Porter" even a "Mild Porter" is close to an insult.
