On tap in Montreux. Golden color with foamy white head. Bready malt aroma. Medium body. Malty flavor with a moderately bitter finish. Refreshing on a warm day.

Review: 50cl. Can of Boxer Old: ABV: 5.2% vol
Got it in a can, could not pass by and had to buy it what with the very eye catching logo of a Boxer dog on the can. Logo really is cool, love it, it really stands out.
On pour get a nice clear light golden yellow beer, with a nice white frothy head.
Small carbonation. Head maintains, some slight lacing, not a bad looking beer.
The aroma is faint but a piercing sweet grainy smell nonetheless, and of malts, the yeast and the hops. A typical lager smell.
On taste I get a slight creamy taste. Bit malty. Nice big mouthfuls. Grainy. All that in the initial taste!
Is a very tasty beer, a very smooth drinking beer, I like it. A lot in it to saviour.
A little bit hoppy but not overpowering, nicely balanced and pleasant.
A lovely beer to saviour, and very refreshing on the taste buds.
Very malty as well.
Recommended. A good lager, simple and hits the spot.
I have had it served cool from a bottle at a bar and also found it quite refreshing, so I would definitely recommend this beer as a good lager to enjoy the night.

500ml brown glass bottle acquired in Drinks of the World, Hauptebahnhof, Zürich, Switzerland, and poured into an An Brainblasta goblet in Belfort, France. Me bottle is a swingtop, not a pull-cap like in the picture. Pfand is one franc. Reviewed live on June 20th, 2011.
A: Not even a one finger head, very slight cream, and terrible retention. Semitransparent yellow-gold colour. Standard fare.
Sm: Caramelized malt, slight cream, and moderately empty barley.
T: Thankfully the malt is restrained, but it's still unwelcome. Barley is moderately empty, as expected, but retains some value. Some nice cream is present on the climax, but I'd like more to fill out the flavour. Simple and not quite refreshing. Pretty balanced, but not built well much to me chagrin.
Mf: Smooth and wet. The smoothness gradually fades until the climax, whereupon the ersatz coarseness helps to bring out what little flavours there are in the body. At least it tries.
Dr: Average ABV, pretty good drinkability (at least she goes down easy enough), and a fair price point make this a beer worth giving a go, but not one worth cherishing. Give her a spin if you fancy, lads - just don't expect a whole lot.

Poured from a 25 cl bottle.Lightly carbonated, light gold with a small head that has large bubbles that fades quickly leaving a little lacing. Grainy upfront with a sweet malt and fairly decent hop balance. Malt sticks to the tongue, with a dash of hops at the end that is fairly refreshing and suprising for a Swiss beer. Nothing to write home about but worth trying if you are in the west of Switzerland.
