Here is BrewDog's gift to Brazil, a collaboration ale brewed with passionfruit. Out of a 330 ml bottle, on to the beer:
A full pour and I have a few chunks of sediment floating in my beer. In the body, it's toasted orange with a head that stays around for awhile. I don't get a huge sensation in aroma. Yes I know it's not super fresh, but the sell-by date is a month away. Little aromas of bitter grapefruit, citrus rind, and carmelized sugar come to my head. While the flavor doesn't hit my palate with an explosion of flavor, there's something about it which attracts me. It's put together adequately, and I do get a little passionfruit and carmelized malt. Despite having faded hops, it doesn't provide any strong bitter resin flavors.
At this moment, catch it for the novelty. I did, but I can get a fresh glass in the future, the high price makes Hello My Name Is Zé one and done.

Amber color with a very thin head with short retention.
Aroma of toasted malts, spices, grapefruit American yeast, passion fruit, mango and some pine. Passion fruit does not predominate over other ingredients, actually runs at the same level. I was expecting more intensity.
Flavor of grapefruits, caramel and slight toasted malts, spices, passion fruit, herbal and floral hops, some booze, resin, honey and lemon. Quite dry and bitter aftertaste. Though it does not fell as 60 IBUs.
Light body with mild carbonation. Alcohol of 6.4% abv could be better hidden.
Decent American IPA, but far from extraordinary, it lacks freshness although it has still 6 months to expiration. It could definitely be bolder and more assertive in both hops and passion fruit. On the positive side is not cloying and grows up as time passes by. I actually had to tune the grade up. Ps. not sure why the label says double IPA.

Light sunny, clear color. Aroma is fruity, mostly floral. The Maracuja is not too pronounced. Taste is citrus with a passion fruit backing, moderate bitterness that finishes mostly crisp. Light body, decent drink ability. A collaborative brew with Brazils 2Cabesas based upon their Maracajipa, this doesn't showcase the Brazilian passion fruit nearly as well as 2Cabesas stand alone does.
