A 330ml bottle with a BB of May 2015. Purchased a little while back from the Brewdog webshop. A double IPA with buckthorn for a Finnish twist.
A: Poured into a Duvel tulip. A hazy marmalade hue with medium carbonation and a ton of floating sediment. Looks like coagulated proteins. Yields a decent head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before subsiding to a patchy surface layer.
S: Aroma of intensely fruity hops with hints of pine, weed, grapefruit, orange peel, citrus, a berry-like quality (presumably buckthorn), caramel malt and earthy yeast. Slightly sweet, and decidedly tasty.
T: Tastes of fervently aromatic hops and sweet caramel malt with a powerful bitter finish. Notes of pine resin, dank weed, grapefruit, orange peel, citrus, subtle white grape, vague tropical fruit, berries/buckthorn, caramel malt, earthy yeast and stewed hops. Slightly sweet, followed by a robust, hop-driven bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth and tingly, with pleasant carbonation and good body. Somewhat astringent, accompanied by an aftertaste of bitter aromatic hops, citrus, earthy yeast and mild caramel.
O: Another quality DIPA with a twist from Brewdog. Looks OK - shame about the floating crud. The aroma and flavour are superb, with tons of fruity hop notes and sweet caramel in evidence. The buckthorn is quite subtle but lurks in the background. Body is alright. A hop-head's delight; worth sampling if you come across it.

Been a while since I tried this now.
The overall experience of the beer was good, the smell was somewhat fruity with some hops hidden. The taste was somewhat unique to me, havn't tried beer with sea buckthorn before but it sure was an enjoyable taste.
Summarized: Hoppy, fruity, sea buckthorn. Good!
