Light amber. Thick frothy head which dissipates in about 2 min's.
Aromatic mixed spice aroma.
Spice continues with ginger and pepper to the fore. Nothing much else.
Light body and ultimately disappointing.

Clear copper color. Caramel malts, pumpkin, with a spicy cinnamon and nutmeg nose. Smooth body and balanced. Bready and light caramel malts upfront, followed by a mild savory pumpkin body and notes of orange peel and mulled spice. Hint of bitterness in the aftertaste.

330ml bottle into a snifter. Paid £1.65 for a single.
Pours a clear, shiny, dark ruby-copper coloured body with minimal visible carbonation. A light, fluffy, off white head made of large soapy bubbles rises to two-fingers in height, before reducing quickly to a patchy film and leaving sheets of sticky lace.
The sweet and spicy nose leads with aromas of caramel, ginger, cumin and cardamom, followed by a touch of pumpkin and generic root vegetable towards the middle. Plenty of cinnamon, nutmeg, all spice and clove become apparent towards the back end. Taste follows suit. Spicy ginger leads along with caramel, crystal and bready malts to give an initial flavour faintly reminiscent of gingerbread cookies, before leading into earthy, roasted pumpkin and root vegetable profiles. Clove, cinnamon, and a touch of pepper combine with other warming spices, building from the mid-palate onwards, overriding the pale malt backbone and lingering into the finish. Disappointingly the light to medium body sheds its carbonation rapidly, leaving it feel inadequately flat, thin and watery in the mouth. On the end a small amount of earthy and citric hops provide balance to a little residual caramel and toffee flavours, finishing mildly bitter and dry towards the end.
Overall this is a very average beer. It looks and smells good but ultimately the taste and feel don’t deliver. I can’t say I’d happily part with my own money to try it again.

Bright orange/red-ish color and perfectly clear beer. The head, not very abundant since the pouring, dissipates quickly. The aroma is, well, pumpkin and spices, with a mild peppery character. Also something sweet in the background, almost a caramel scent. The taste follows on these notes but reveals a bitter aftertaste which evolves in something a tad cardboardy. Not very pleasant, but does not live long on the palate. Going back and forth, sip after sip, I also get vanilla notes on the nose. Medium to light bodied. I was expecting something better.
