A 330ml can with a best before date of 8th October 2020. Poured into a snifter glass.
Appearance: Black in colour with a less than half finger brown head that dissipated quickly and left some nice fine spotty lacing.
Aroma: Roasty, coffee, milk chocolate, vanilla and molasses.
Taste: Much like the aroma, wonderful roastiness, coffee, bittersweet chocolate, oak, vanilla and a touch of molasses.
Mouthfeel: Creamy, full bodied, soft carbonation with a touch of booze.
Overall: A wonderful sipper with excellent aroma and flavours. Easily the best BrewDog beer out there. I’m just sad that this was my last can.

Really dark brown color with a bit of mocha head. Aroma has some smoky whiskey notes, roasted malts, sweet coffee and spicy notes. Taste has whiskey spice, some roasty coffee bitterness and really dark chocolate. Medium body with medium to low carbonation. Quite balanced, not too boozy for its ABV.

330ml Can from Brewdog.com (£9.50):
Excellent stuff from Brewdog & definitely one of their better beers, this one seemed to hold up well in the year plus since I bought the can. Opening with plenty of coffee, chocolate & vanilla flavours & some nice roasted malts too, this one was a complex but very well-balanced beer that went down quite easily considering the strength. It's rich but softly carbonated with some darker fruits near the end although things did fade a touch nearer the end too but I guess that's understandable given how long I took enjoying it; it was a great beer throughout.

Holy shit. Like a goddamn chocolate-covered piece of oak. Or a Mr Goodbar with oak chips replacing the peanuts. Very little coffee, but it's been forgotten in the cellar for a bit.

Poured from a can to a tumbler glass.
Best before 08/10/20.
A: The body is pitch black with a very creamy and foamy brown head of a 1 to 1.5 fingers thick. Shows lots of retention and lacing. Pure excitement here.
S: The aroma is boozy (12.7% ABV), coffee and malt roastiness, all together birthing an aroma that's heavenly good. Would just love to find this less boozier and more coffee-ier.
T: The begining of the taste is bittersweet, having less sweetness than expected, jumping right to a acid and bitter components. The coffee gives this beer a very creamy body and even expecting a sweet touch from it, it's rather hard to find it here, but to balance it all, the bitterness is very mellow resulting in a very balanced flavour of coffee mixed with the malt roastiness (that's less prominent here).
M: The body's density is high. Alcohol is clearly everywhere. Carbonation is low but amazingly perfect. Bitterness is mellow.
O: Clearly, the best BrewDog beer I've ever had. My kind of beer.

Can purchased at Micro Bar in Reykjavik, Iceland. A canned BA coffee stout- ok?
This is pretty dark and ominous, with a small mocha colored head, and not much lacing.
Smells like creamy, fruity and super roasty coffee, scotch, molasses, caramel, and heavily roasty and ashy malt.
This is really intense but very well done. The scotch character is subtle but there, with some oak, and vanilla. There's a lot of creamy and über roasty coffee, dark fruits, caramel and molasses, and dark chocolate. It finishes pretty bitter which keeps it balanced.
This is medium bodied, fairly creamy with a normal (lower) level of carbonation for the style.
Super intense and decadent stuff here.

Pitch black colour, no head whatsoever. Heavy syrupy fig and raisin aromas, chocolate and vanilla notes. Maple syrup and bourbon. Smells alcoholic. Tastes like dark toasty sweet malt with a smooth cold black coffee and date syrup end, and vanilla toffee finish. A bit alcoholic but not enough to denote the 12.7%.

Served in a snifter glass from the can.
Appearance: Black thick motor oil with a subtle head rising maybe one and a half finger's length coming off a dark tan color. Settles quick after two sips, zero lacing.
Smell: Sweet warm caramel with notes of coffee. It's actually better than you think..had a few beers that smell this good but the potency is just a tad on the lighter side.
Taste: Deep coffee and a pure sweet molasses infused with the brew. Vanilla tones are quite evident which will give the beer a special unique flavor to it.
Mouth: Honestly the flavor hugs your cheeks, medium carbonation with a thin to medium body and the best stickiness which sucks to every part of your mouth including your teeth.
Overall: awesome brew, may top the last double stout I had in the States only by a nudge.
