June 2017: 330 ml bottle, batch #160267, from Coop Extra, Farsund. BB date May 1st 2017. ABV is 4.5%. Slightly hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Not very exciting aroma of moderate hops and stale jam. The flavour is better, medium dry with decent hops throughout, and a well balanced bitterness.

Slightly hazy urine-like with thin white head, some laces, low retention.
Watery and lifeless in common, plus ordure notes in the nose. Citrus & marmelade are here.
Light body, soft carbonation.

330ml bottle from Brewdog.com (£1.90):
A so-so offering from Brewdog, miles better than their Ace Of Citra beer in the series but it never really hit the heights of the first in the series either with the Simcoe edition proving to be a far superior beer. There was some nice touches of citrus, pine & some lighter tropical fruits coming through but my biggest complaint was that everything could have been a lot more pronounced really. Definitely a drinkable offering but it's not exactly one that you'd find yourself hurrying back to & it's not one I'll be looking out for to try again either sadly.
