Half pint on keg at Brewdog Manchester (£3.30):
Sour & strong despite the low abv., this one opened quite lively with strong carbonation & a fruity tart flavour that featured throughout. Lots of berries & brambles featured with some citrus & the odd tropical fruit/grapefruit to add faint sweetness & plenty sharp bitterness/tart. Touches of pale wheat & faint malts appeared in places but for the most part the funky flavours, yeast & sourness crowded them out. Still, this one was quite a nice beer & an interesting take on the style that was well worth trying without it being anything too special.
