A 330ml bottle with a BB of Dec 2017. Picked up recently from Morrisons. A single-hop session IPA brewed with Equinox hops.
A: Poured into an IPA glass. A bright golden hue with faint haze and good carbonation. Produces a large head of creamy white foam that lasts for a few minutes before reducing to a persistent surface layer. Some lacing.
S: Aroma of intense tropical fruit with hints of mango, pineapple, passionfruit, light citrus, grass, earthy yeast and subtle caramel malt. Deliciously hoppy - very nice.
T: Tastes of powerful fruity hops with notes of grapefruit, citrus, tropical fruit, mango, earthy yeast and mild caramel malt. A faintly harsh vegetal hint lurks in the background, followed by a strident hop-driven bitterness upon swallowing.
M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with spritzy carbonation and some hop oil action on the palate. Slightly thin, insubstantial body. Aftertaste of tropical fruit-laden hops, bitterness and earthy yeast.
O: Good stuff - a satisfying hop bomb. Looks great, while the aroma and flavour are intensely hoppy and fruity. Decent body but a tad thin. Goes down a treat. If you love hops, get your hands on this beer.

Pours a clear golden body with big foaming white head that retreats but pretty much covers the surface
Big candy grapefruit aroma
Tropical fruit and some ace just bulldozed by something like citra
Nice though

Light amber/orange. Slight haze. Quite a thick head.
Sharp grassy/herbal aroma. Mild burning rubber.
Resin hops. Malt is mostly hidden. Somewhat dry. Rubber continues and is a bit jarring.
Sprightly carbonation.

Hazy orange color with off-white head. Aroma is mostly herbal with some sweet citrus fruits. Taste follows with herbal hop bitterness, not too intense though, quite balanced overall. Green hop flavors, resiny, classic. Light body, dry, medium carbonation. A classic, well made IPA.

330ml bottle into a Spiegleau IPA glass. Paid £1.50 for a single.
Pours a crystal clear, bright amber coloured body with plenty of fine, streaming carbonation visible. A light, frothy, one-finger in height, off-white head with excellent retention slowly reduces to a dense cap, leaving behind small specs of soapy lace.
The light and simple nose primarily consists of green, grassy and floral hop profiles. Traces of citrus peels and pine follow, while faint notes of unripe mango and papaya give a vaguely tropical impression towards the back-end. Taste roughly follows suit. Grassy, piney and floral hop profiles combine with yellow grapefruit and lemony citrus to deliver modest bitterness upfront. Mid-palate, traces of mango and papaya add hints of tropical fruit sweetness, but the notably absent “biscuity malt backbone” the label promises leaves the flavour profile to fall somewhat flat in the middle. In the mouth, a light body and moderate amount of lively carbonation give a feel that’s reasonably crisp and dry, despite being a little thin. Towards the back-end, grapefruit rind, traces of resinous pine and grassy hops profiles provide substantial, but not over-the-top bitterness. After the swallow, pithy grapefruit lingers for an age, leaving plenty of hop oils to stimulate the palate and give a long, dry and astringent finish.
Overall this is a decent beer. Crisp, refreshing and reasonably well-balanced despite a complete absence of supporting malt, but a little lackluster in both body and depth of flavour. At only 4.5% this is perhaps forgivable, but Founders All Day, Stone Go To, Pipeworks Lil’ Citra or even Beavertown Neck Oil are all examples of the style I’d rather drink before reaching for another of these.

330ml bottle from Good Spirits Co. Wine & Beer, Glasgow (£2.10):
This one was a beer that started very well indeed, particularly early on with the aroma but sadly things started to fade from then on & the nose weaken somewhat thereafter. There was some pleasant tropical fruits & a little pine in there to keep things interesting but I was expecting something a bit more from this one but again a session IPA lets me down.
