Jan. 2010: Rerate, 330 ml bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6%. Pale yellow colour, big white head. Very nice aroma of fruity American(?) hops. The flavour is aggressively hopped from start to finish, but the sweetness seems necessary to balance some of the bitterness. Resinous and grapefruity finish. Very bitter (too bitter and medicinal) and long lasting aftertaste. I’m still upping the beer a few points.
Original rating: Bottle, RBESG 2007 in Glasgow, Grand Tasting. Pale yellow colour. Very nice hoppy aroma, notes of tropical fruits. Hoppy and sweet flavour, too hoppy and sweet for me.
