New England detuned. This full-tilt fruit machine of an IPA packs all the flavour but less of the alcohol. Notes of pineapple, mango, stone-fruit, and a hint of tangerine to mix it up. Brewed with oats and wheat and left unfiltered for a smooth juicy hit.

The hazy golden and straw colored beer pours out into a Duvel glass with a 2” fluffy off-white head that recedes slowly to leave lots of lacing on the sides of the glass as it eventually becomes a ring around the glass and a thin irregularly shaped island of foam that persists for a long time on the liquid. Sipping creates multiple small patches and an occasional slender leg of lacing.
The aromas include some citrus, some pineapple, and some other fruits. There’s also a bit of resin up front and a nice bready malt backbone way in the background.
The flavors are much as expected from the nose with a nice balance between the citrus, the tropical fruits, and the bready malt backbone. The light sweetness from the malt is nicely balanced by some resinous bitterness from the hops that is noticeably there but never unpleasant.
The mouthfeel is on the full side of medium bodied and a bit creamy with the moderate but active carbonation. The finish begins as the sweetness and fruit flavors recede to highlight some citric, resinous bitterness before that too slides away into a dry finish that leaves bitterness in the front of the palate and dryness in the back of the palate.
This is a reasonably well made beer that is easy to drink and enjoy. Nice to know it’s available here and I may be having it again. It seems a reasonable fit with what are being called NEIPAs these days and so is rated with that style in mind.

Pint pour in Amsterdam. Pours hazy gold with a thin persistent white head. Lacing. Tropical fruit smells. Medium carbonation and sticky mouthfeel. Nice NE hazy with good hops juiciness. Nothing exceptional but well made and drinkable.

330ml can.
L: Hazy, orange colour with one finger of short-lived, soapy head.
S: Mango, passionfruit & orange but kind of lightweight.
T: A lot of sharp tangerine plus some smoother pineapple.
F: Almost a rounded mouthfeel but it loses body quickly. Some spicy bitterness comes through slowly.
O: A slightly thin, slightly sharp, generically citrus, American-style IPA from the increasingly underwhelming BrewDog. Only 5% ABV so easy-drinking.

12 oz can from Total Wine and More in Short Pump, VA The ale poured a hazy light amber with a white foamy head and limited lacing. Good head retention. The aroma of tropical fruit was easy to detect. The flavors were tropical fruit and pale malts. Not much hop bitterness, fruity flavors, and aromas. The ale has a medium body and soft carbonation.

12oz can, dated 01.27.2025, poured into a 16oz tumbler glass. Enjoyed on 03.19.2025, reviewed from Tasting Journal.
The beer pours a cloudy orange color, golden hues, hazy and cloudy, foamy white head, very tall with nice retention and lacing. The aroma is pleasant, soft berry fruits, melon, citrus, pale dough, lightly herbal and floral, pine needles linger. The flavors are good, sweet dough, melon fruit, citrus peel, grass, pine, wildflower, and mineral water. The mouthfeel is good, coating medium body, smooth, but with a very weak finish.
Verdict: A decent hazy IPA from Brewdog. Balanced, easy, smooth, very benign.

on tap. Hazy, of course, medium orange color. 1/2 head that left some lacing. Aroma was pleasant, mostly citrus, a little malt. Tasted fruity, not floral, not as bitter as most IPA s. Reminded me of Bells two hearted which I view as the standard for this style. Although, this is advertised as a NE ipa, it was very similar to Two Hearted in taste, just slightly less bitter. Mouthfeel was soft and velvety, delicious. I enjoyed my first beer from Brewdog

Cloudy golden-to-orange body with an average, frothy white head, mostly lasting with some good lacing.
Light-to-moderate malty (grains) and moderate-to-heavy hoppy (citrus, grapefruit) aroma with notes of fruits (tropical fruits, maybe).
Moderate sweet and moderate-to-heavy bitter flavour; average-lasting fruity finish.
Medium body with watery-to-oily texture, soft carbonation.
