BrewDog "Ten Ton Truck Espresso Edition"
330ml can coded "180340B LK 23/04/19 GHOST KING VI". Sampled on 30 June 2018
Notes: Opaque black body beneath a full head of brown foam that settles back readily but then holds fairly well. Aroma of dark chocolate, sweet chocolate, roastiness, oily coffee beans, brown sugar, toasted/burnt marshmallow, and berries. The flavor is as rich as the aroma suggests it will be with all of the previously listed notes and more. The espresso dominates, and berries come through fairly strong along with the multiple varieties of chocolate, some fig, molasses, and a spritz of alcohol. It's got a firm bitterness to it, and it finishes dry and spicy. Rich, smooth mouthfeel with a fine-bubbled moderate carbonation.
