664559|BrewDog OverWorks Cosmic Crush Cherry|BrewDog OverWorks|7|2|7|4|14|3.4|Copenhagen 7/9 2021. 50 cl heavy glass bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Label shaped after the motive on the label. Strange landscape with an aqueduct reaching into the horizon and a Jupiter-like planet hovering in the background. Pours unclear, pale red with a small, bubbly white head. Disappears fairly fast leaving a thin rim of foam clinging to the sides of the glass. No lacing. Aroma is intense with a sweet, fruity odor of berries mingling with a strong, austere sour odor. Sweet cherries. Citrus, vinegar and sour, unripe fruit. Medium strong carbonation. Thin, watery, lively and tingling texture. Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a strong sourness. Aftertaste is sour and a bit searing. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry and acidic. Very much from the dry and sour side with only a modest sweetness from the cherries chiming in. |9/7/2021 7:54:55 PM|Scotland|Grampian|Ellon, Aberdeenshire|Sour / Wild Beer - Flavored

12.68 FL OZ bottle
Served in a wine glass
Packaged on 8-26-19

This beer pours amber with burnt orange highlights and is hazy. It is topped with a fleeting tan head that leaves minimal lacing.

Tart cherry aroma.

Tart cherry flavor. I was hoping for more sourness.

Medium bodied with a slightly dry mouthfeel

Refreshing. Would have been a killer summer beer. Why did I drink it in winter? WHY?

Pours a hazy reddish gold with a thin head that dissipated fairly rapidly with no lacing. Aroma of sour cherry with maybe a hint of grape. Nicely tart cherry flavor. Well carbonated and light on the palate. Paired nicely with my Christmas dinner.

375 ml bottle, BrewDog Overworks USA brewed, label says 6% ABV. No dating listed on the label but I'm pretty sure I've had this for 3 or 4 months. Served in an Overworks chalice, the beer pours a slightly hazy golden/orange color with about an inch off-white head that didn't stay around for too long. Not much lacing. The brew smells like cherry, oak, apple cider vinegar and white grapes. Taste is similar to the aroma, with tart cherry, oak, grainy malt, apple vinegar, white grape and earthy flavors. It's tart, but the tartness isn't strong. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's a bit coating and smooth with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was an enjoyable easy drinking sour ale, worth a try!
