Schooner at Brewdog Stirling (£4.19):
Black & opaque with a frothy lacing on top that sits mainly around the sides but leave some decent lacing on the glass. It's a sweet nose with some coconut &milk chocolate plus a few dark malts, there’s nothing too pronounced coming through though. The taste is similar with coconut, creamy flavours & a little vanilla sweetness alongside the chocolate, milky flavours & dark malts. There's a little bitterness coming nearer the end but it's well balanced & smooth with soft carbonation & a sweet, medium-full body. This one was pleasant & quite enjoyable but very similar to the original, perhaps not quite as good but it's hard to tell them apart.
